Thieves steal thousands of pounds of designer goods

Footage shows the moment a luxury store in Belgravia was burgled of over £500,000 of goods.
A designer store in Belgravia had hundreds of thousands of pounds of items stolen in a burglary.
Sellier’s was broken into on Wednesday 13 November.
Three masked men came into the store on Lowndes Street just before 2am.
They took Hermes and Chanel bags, and jewelry which they say totaled hundreds of thousands.
The owner, Hanushka Toni, said: “I mean all around this area it’s not only shoplifting, but violent crime, whether it’s retail focused or people just not feeling safe walking down the street.
“It’s such a horrible feeling knowing that someone could get hurt in something like this.
“You can see what they’re capable of, they’ve got an iron crowbar, they had an axe, who knows what else they would have had on them.”
Some of the comments on their Instagram post included from other local businesses with one saying “I am so so so so sorry!! We watched our Belgravia boutique be robbed twice and it’s terrible to see.”
The shop sells pre-loved fashion, and say they have called all the affected sellers and paid them for the stolen items.
But the items also appeared on snapchat not long after they were stolen.
“I mean it was really, really shocking. I was also quite surprised with how efficient they were, it was only a few hours after the robbery the bags were online,” added Ms Toni.
